Fall in line…

failbetter.com readies to enter its fourth year in publication, and with the latest fall issue, we couldn't be prouder of the final product.

We've got a double whammy of interviews inside, first with longtime fiction favorite Richard Bausch, a man whose little stories pack a big punch, followed by an interesting Q&A with Jonathan Lethem, a sci fi/noir aficionado whose recent works have not only promoted our beloved home town of Brooklyn, NY, but blurred the distinctions between literary and genre for the betterment of the reading public.

As for fiction, the accomplished and acclaimed Jim Shepard starts us off with an excerpt from his forthcoming novel from Knopf, and other interesting ditties from the likes of Liam Callanan, John Rubins and Leslie Blanco. For those pesky poets who will not be denied, more mental images and ideas from Tom Horacek, Jennifer Benka, Sadiq Bey and Adam Clay. Meanwhile, always the afterward but never an afterthought, we also offer the artwork of one, Pamela Harris.

Thus, would-be readers take a look, would-be writers take note (our submission line has just reopened), and for the rest...we wish you the best for simply stopping by.
