At the party (1)

You look at me like I’m a piece of punctuation you want to strip your poem of, perhaps the period

I’m wearing a V-neck sweater dress with a pendant

At your house, the first thing we do is strip, as if we can’t talk unless we’re naked

It’s that much of a habit
