Programming in progress

posted Mar 25, 2008

“All books train a reader, program them, you could say.” So said Junot Diaz in the course of our recent email interview, and we couldn’t agree more. Same goes for stories, and poems, and visuals as well, we think. Which is why we’d like to point out that you’re getting very, very sleepy, and would do well to sit back, and stare deeply into the screen, all the better to lose yourself in the work of our old friends Stephen Dixon, Amy Havel, John Rybicki, Peter Markus, and Liana Scalettar; as well as great fiction, poetry, and paintings from fresh failbetter faces C.E. Poverman, Pascal Mercier, Jennifer Pilch, Eugene Ostashevsky, and Megan Williamson, and of course the writeup of our virtual chat with Junot Diaz.

So without further ado, let us now return to our regularly scheduled programming… already in progress.
